WABTEC REORGANISE ITS COMPANY STRUCTURE AND MAKE NEW APPOINTMENTS FOLLOWING RECENT RECENT ACQUISITIONS

Following the recent acquisition of Brush Traction and Brush Barclay Wabtec Rail is pleased to announce the reorganisation of its company structure. A new company, Wabtec Rail Group, has been formed which will address the overall control of the Group's finance, sales and HR functions. These Group functions will then support the

three individual companies Wabtec Rail Limited, Brush Traction and Wabtec Rail Scotland, formerly Brush Barclay.

As a result of this reorganisation Wabtec Rail is pleased to announce the following appointments:-

Wabtec Rail Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Weatherall as their Managing Director. Chris is currently the Wabtec Rail Limited Managing Director, a role in which he will continue to serve, whilst also overseeing the management of Brush Traction and Wabtec Rail Scotland.

Chris has extensive management experience within both Wabtec Rail Limited and Brush Traction. Chris joined Wabtec Rail as Operations Director in 1999, after previously being employed by Brush Traction. Chris then subsequently served as Wabtec Rail's Commercial Director before becoming the Managing Director of Wabtec Rail Limited in 2009.

During his time with Wabtec Rail Limited Chris has led the introduction of the project management tools and processes that have enabled Wabtec Rail to be so successful in the undertaking of major passenger rolling stock refurbishment contracts and will carry this experience through into his new Group role.

Wabtec Rail Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Robinson as their Group Sales Director. Paul is currently Wabtec Rail's Head of Sales and in his new role will oversee the sales functions within the three Group companies of Wabtec Rail Limited, Brush Traction and Wabtec Rail Scotland.

Paul will co-ordinate the sales functions of the three companies in order to provide customers with a total package of products and services. In this role Paul will bring a wealth of experience, having previously served as the Engineering Manager and Commercial Manager at Wabtec Rail's Doncaster Works.

Wabtec Rail Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Giles Brown as the Group Finance Director. Giles is currently Wabtec Rail Limited's Finance Director and will continue in this role whilst having directorial responsibility for the finance functions at Brush Traction and Wabtec Rail Scotland.

Giles joined Wabtec Rail Limited from Porterbrook Leasing in 2010, where he was the Senior Finance Manager for six years.

In his new role Giles will integrate and oversee the financial reporting of the three Wabtec Rail Group companies, along with the development of group wide strategic purchasing initiatives and the management of the group-wide IT systems.

Wabtec Rail Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Jackie Spendlove as their HR Manager. Jackie is currently Wabtec Rail's HR Manager and in her new role will oversee the HR functions within the three Group companies of Wabtec Rail Limited, Brush Traction and Wabtec Rail Scotland.

Her role will be to assist the three companies in co-ordinating their HR functions and in ensuring compliance with governmental and European legislation. Jackie brings a wealth of HR knowledge and experience to this role which will also enable her to focus on increasing each company's skills base and its overall performance through its people at all levels within the business.

Wabtec Rail Group has been formed from the acquisition of Brush Traction and Brush Barclay by Wabtec Rail Limited. Wabtec Rail sees the acquisition as the broadening of the range of services that it is now able to offer its customers. The addition of the Brush Traction expertise in mainline locomotives, power units, traction motors and electrical control systems complements Wabtec Rail's expertise in passenger rolling stock maintenance and refurbishment, freight wagon maintenance and wheelset, bogies, brake equipment and HVAC overhauls. By combining these areas of expertise the new Wabtec Rail Group of companies can offer rolling stock owners and train operators a range of services that covers all aspects of railway rolling stock maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment.

In addition the acquisition of the Brush Barclay facility at Kilmarnock will broaden the nationwide coverage of Wabtec Rail by providing a base to better support the trains operating in Scotland and Northern England.

To reflect the new ownership Brush Traction at Loughborough will be known as 'Brush Traction – Part of the Wabtec Rail Group', with the Brush Barclay Kilmarnock Works becoming 'Wabtec Rail Scotland'. With the facilities at Doncaster, Loughborough and Kilmarnock Wabtec Rail Group is the UK's leading railway engineering company undertaking the overhaul and repair of railway rolling stock, locomotives, passenger coaches and multiple units, freight

wagons and traction systems. In addition the Wabtec Rail Group also overhauls wheelsets, brake equipment, hydraulic dampers, buffers and passenger, freight and locomotive bogies. As part of the Wabtec Corporation the Wabtec Rail Group also supplies to the UK rail industry products manufactured at the Wabtec Corporation facilities located throughout the world. These products include train data recorders, electronic equipment, composition brake blocks and pads, train braking systems, air compressors and locomotive radiators and cooler groups.
