NEW RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL TEAM

We are pleased to announce the following management changes at Wabtec Rail Limited. (WRL) with immediate effect.

John D.Meehan, Managing Director of WRL since 1998, has been promoted to the new position of Chairman - WRL. In this role, John will focus on the continued growth of WRL. In the last ten years, John and his team have successfully grown this business from a predominantly freight operation into the dynamic, mainly transit business it is today. During this period, revenues have increased by over four times and WRL is now firmly established as a leader in the UK
Transit market.

This change in responsibility will allow John to focus on future business development and continued representation within the UK Rail industry of WRL. John will also direct and lead all acquisition activity for WRL. John will continue to have overall responsibility for all WRL activities including delivery of the STRAP and financial plan.

Chris Weatherall has been promoted to Managing Director of WRL. Chris joined Wabtec in 1999 and has worked in the UK rail industry for over 30 years. In this role, Chris will report directly to John. For the last five years Chris has been Commercial Director at WRL, responsible for tenders, projects, planning and purchasing and has previously served as Operations Director.

This change will allow Chris to manage the day to day activities including but not limited to profit and loss responsibility for WRL, sales and revenue growth, engineering and product development, leadership development and the generation of savings from using QPS tools and sourcing efforts.
